Peninsula Valdes Tour Without Whales Watching Puerto Madryn - Atlantic Patagonia
Peninsula Valdes, a World Heritage Site, has got throughout its vast expanse many different unique species that find ideal conditions to develop their life in this area.
It is a full day excursion, accompanied by biological and bilingual guides.
Departure from Puerto Madryn at 7.30/8.00h.
The first stop is the centre on Interpretation Istmo Carlos Ameghino, where you will learn about the fauna, flora and geology of the Peninsula. We will also go the viewpoint where you can observe the Golfo Nuevo, San José and the Island of Birds.
The next stop will be in the little town Puerto Pirámides where, depending on the period of the year, you will be able to do whale watching (optional).
Continuing with the land excursions, depending on the period of the year, the weather or the tides, we will visit the following places or they will be combined with other stops: Caleta Valdés, Punta Cantor and Punta Norte where you can see elephant seals, pensguins and sealions.
There is the possibility to also see orcas at Punta Norte, during the months of March and April. This is also possible in Caleta Valdés during September (with less frequency).
