Punta Tombo And Rio Chubut Valley Puerto Madryn - Atlantic Patagonia
In this package you will visit the most important Latin Americancontinental “Pingüinera” (where hundreds and hundreds of Penguins lays their eggss in the beach). This visit is combined with the magnificent experience of seeing the “Toninas” (dolphins) in their natural habitat at the locality of Gaiman.
Departure from Puerto Madryn.
First rest stop, at “Rawson” port, in the “Union” beach to observe the “Toninas Overas” (optative). The Tonina is the smallest dolphin of the world. It is necessary to remember that these friendly and player animals live in freedom, thats the reason why our navigation patrons will do all their possible to find them, depending this on the dolphins.
After that, we will move towards Punta Tombo, geographic feature that serves as an habitat of the “Magallanes” Penguin. There, we will have time to observe how the Gulls, “Skuas”, “Petrels”, Cormorans, Oystercatchers and Duck Steams cohabit in the coast.
Due to a big extension area, you will also observe steppe characteristic species like “Guanacos”(typical animal), “Choiques” (small ostrichs), “Maras” (big patagonian Hares) and Foxes will be observed.
Like in our previous excursion to the Chubuts River Valley, we will visit the small town of Gaiman, to admire its culture and the very particular architecture, also to taste a delicious piece of cake and a welsh tea (optional).
